Do you feel obliged to be busy at Georgetown?
I just feel like everyone’s always really busy, but I feel like it’s important to not always be running around and to relax.
What do you do?
I do Rangila — Salsa Masala — and freshman year, I did ballroom dance. I volunteered at GAAP weekend and gave residence hall tours.
What do you find most frustrating about Georgetown?
I find it frustrating how everyone is always busy and the way people around you get stressed. Not that people take classes too seriously but get very worked up over every little test or assignment or essay.
What do you like most about Georgetown?
The people. I really like the people hanging out getting food, shopping on M Street. The school spirit is fun. The people are friendly and personable — ambitious, but sincere.
What are your plans after Georgetown? Does this question annoy you?
Yes, that question annoys me because I don’t have any plans yet.
What’s your favorite class you’ve taken at Georgetown?
“Intro to Film Theory.” It’s in the English department and I like it a lot because I really like analyzing movies and learning about different ways to interpret them.
Where are you from? Compare and contrast it to Georgetown. Where are you more comfortable?
Cutchogue, Long Island. It’s on the north fork of Long Island, it’s really small and everyone knows everyone. It was different than coming here freshman year but I feel the community here is kind of small and you get to know everyone. I’m definitely very comfortable in my hometown but I feel that I keep getting more and more comfortable here over time.
What do you do to relax?
I like to bake and re-read any of the Harry Potter books.
