Do you feel obliged to be busy at Georgetown?
Absolutely. I think our culture propagates this belief that we should constantly be busy. I’m trying to work in more time for reflective thoughts and spending time on myself.
What do you find most frustrating about Georgetown?
The overreliance on finding a proper career path without giving specific time to explore passions. I think we’re often funneled into career paths without knowing we’re ready to pursue them.
What do you like most about Georgetown?
The Hot Chick from Wisey’s, long walks on Healy Lawn and the incredible people from all different backgrounds you meet.
Will you donate to Georgetown and why?
Definitely, because I think that Georgetown’s played such a formative role in shaping me as a person, not just a student. I’d love to make a difference for future generations of Hoyas.
What are your plans after Georgetown?
I plan to go to medical school.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Coordinate Rangila. It was a challenging experience because it was all-consuming, and it forced me to step outside my comfort zone into the world of dance. Despite my awkwardness, though, we managed to create a successful performance.
What’s your greatest fear?
Whoopi Goldberg. Apparently I’d hide as a kid if she came on TV.
Which television character do you see the most of yourself in and why?
Joey from “Friends,” since I’m a goofball, I love food and I have a small vocabulary.
What would you change about yourself? What’s the biggest change you’ve consciously made in your life and why?
I wish I could be more outgoing in social settings. I tend not to speak up in big group settings. The biggest change I’ve made is learning to embrace more opportunities and be more spontaneous.
If you could lead a protest on one thing, what would it be?
National franchising of Wawa. It makes me sad that not everyone can enjoy this fine establishment.
