Do you feel obliged to be busy at Georgetown?
There’s definitely a big emphasis on doing the most amount of activities that you can and making sure that all your time is spent working toward your activity or school or a student job. I think there’s an obligation to always be busy.
What do you find most frustrating at Georgetown?
It’s frustrating that it’s difficult to get involved. The majority of activities and clubs require applications and some of them are even harder to get into than the school itself.
What do you like most about Georgetown?
I would say I like the people the most and the diversity, just because I came from a high school that wasn’t like that and I’ve learned so much in just one year.
Do you feel like you fit in well at Georgetown?
Yeah, I really do. I guess because everyone values schoolwork and always puts that first and I do as well.
What’s your greatest fear?
Birds. Birds and I hate locking doors. Like doors to public bathrooms. I don’t think that was the point of the question, but that’s what I’m going with.
What do you do for “me” time?
TV shows, Netflix, occasional napping, showers and eating.
What television character do you see the most of yourself in and why?
I want to be like Olivia Pope, but I’m not as cool as her. I’m probably more like Leslie Knope from “Parks and Rec,” because she’s a try-hard and a loser like me.
What would you change about yourself? What’s the biggest change you’ve consciously made in your life and why?
I want to not get so stressed out about things. I think the biggest change I’ve made is realizing that some things are out of my control and I have to let things go and enjoy myself more.
Is there anything I should have asked that I didn’t?
What was your favorite part about freshman year? And it would be Georgetown Day and my roommate, obviously.
