Why did you choose Georgetown?
It was my top choice, my dream school. My mom went here, and we’ve been Hoya fans for a long time, and I’d been going to basketball games for a long time. I come from the area so it was convenient too.
What are your plans after Georgetown?
Either med school or grad school; I haven’t decided yet because I’m currently trying to do a economics and biology major, so I guess I’ll see what path I choose.
What’s your favorite class you’ve taken at Georgetown?
Right now my favorite class is “Writing to be Heard” by professor [Maureen] Corrigan. Basically we read pieces by public intellectuals and we analyze them and then we have speakers come in and learn about how they got started. It’s just been a really interesting class.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Probably asking out my girlfriend.
What’s your greatest fear?
Being rejected.
What would you change about yourself? What’s the biggest change you’ve consciously made in your life and why?
I feel like I’ve matured since I came to college. Between freshman and sophomore year I feel like I changed quite a bit. I didn’t know what I wanted to do before, but now I do … more so.
If you could lead a protest on one thing, what would it be?
More awareness for Asian Americans.
