Where are you from? Compare and contrast it to Georgetown?
I’m from Boise, Idaho, so obviously very different from Georgetown. It is the biggest city in Idaho, but obviously very small compared to here. It’s really nature-y, which this is nothing like, so I would say the biggest difference is the amount of nature.
Where are you more comfortable?
Here, definitely. I’ve always liked the feel of having more people around me I guess, so that’s what I like more about it.
What do you hope Georgetown will help you accomplish?
I hope Georgetown will help me with, obviously, the skills to have a career and everything, but to make lifelong friends and relationships. I think that’d be what I hope for the most.
What’s your favorite thing about Georgetown?
The people, definitely. And the location. But probably the people.
What could Georgetown do better?
They could put paper towels in our bathrooms. They could maybe pump it up a little bit in Lau. Give it a makeover.
What’s your favorite class you’ve taken at Georgetown?
I’m taking a Disabilities Studies course right now, which I think is pretty cool. It’s like Humanities and Writing I, but we learn about different types of disabilities like deafness or cognitive disabilities and learn about their communities and things I just hadn’t thought about before.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
This interview, actually. Let’s be honest. These questions got me.
