What do you hope Georgetown will help you accomplish?
I hope to pursue a bachelor’s and then hopefully a Ph.D. in biochemistry, so I hope that I understand science a little better once I get out of here. And also learn more about political science.
What’s your favorite class you’ve taken at Georgetown?
My “Problem of God” class, actually. I didn’t expect that at all, but I love my professor. I have Jonathan Ray. I am not religious at all and I’ve never been interested in religion. But the way he talks about it, he talks about less of finding your own idea of God and religion and more about the history of how people thought about God going through chronologically, which I think is very interesting.
If you could lead a protest on anything, what would it be?
Getting aid to Ukraine.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
The hardest thing I’ve ever done was comforting my mother after my grandma and grandpa died just months apart from each other.
What’s the best thing about Georgetown?
I think that it’s not overly competitive and anywhere you go there are people who will want to talk to you and everyone has different perspectives on everything, but I’ve never heard anyone get angry about different perspectives. They’re just very good at sharing them well.
What could Georgetown do better?
Corp coffee. It needs to not be Mayorga. But you probably shouldn’t put that in because then everyone in The Corp will hate me.
Will you donate to Georgetown?
I probably will. I’ll feel bad about not doing it.
